American Indian Student Mentor Association (AISMA)
Our mission is to promote the development of cultural identity and leadership thus enhancing academic studies and empowering American Indian undergraduate and graduate students through their college careers. By providing resources, activities, events and ongoing development of the American Indian Cultural Resource Center, we encourage the sharing of ideas and experiences, which imparts a greater understanding of our culture(s) to one another and the campus community. Through collaboration and networking; students, staff, faculty, and community learn from one another important aspects of our culture(s).
Decolonizing Our Lives Project (DOLP)
Members of the Decolonizing Our Lives Project promote cultural, social, political, and intellectual support for Indigenous peoples affected by Euro-western colonization, as well as methods for promoting decolonization in our daily lives.
Native American & Indigenous Literary Society (NAILS)
Members of the Native American & Indigenous Literary Society promote, write, and read American Indian- and Indigenous-authored poetry, fiction, and non-fiction.
STANDS Mentors (STANDS)
Students in the STANDS Mentors program weave a culturally connected web of support services for young Native students who participate in the annual UCSB Students Taking Action for Native Dreams of Success (STANDS) college exploration program.
Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)
We are the Society for Advancement of Hispanics/Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) chapter at the University of California, Santa Barbara. SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of Hispanic/Chicano and Native American scientists — from college students to professionals — to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science. SACNAS achieves mission impact through outcome-based programming and initiatives.

Members of the UCSB chapter of the American Indian Science & Engineering Society provide each other peer support; academic, leadership, and professional development opportunities; and career guidance, in advancing the National AISES mission to increase the number of American Indians in science, engineering, and technology disciplines.
